The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is here and the iPhone 17 Air is coming really soon, but we are forgetting about five OG extra slim phones. First up, we have the Gonyi Elife S5.5, which was launched in 2014. Now, the 5.5 in the name meant that it was actually 5.5 mm thick, but in reality, it was 5.6 mm thick. You know, the new Moto Razer 16 Ultra, which when unfolded is just 7.19 mm thick. This is not Moto’s slimmest phone. The OG Motorola Moto Z was just 5.2 mm thick. Now, if you thought 5.2 mm is really slim, well, the canvas sliver 5 was 5.1 mm thick. Next up, we have the OPPO R5, which launched in 2014, was just 4.9 mm thick. And you know what? The OPPO R5 was not even the slimmest phone. It was actually the Vivo X5 Max at 4.8 mm thickness. I finally remembering this phone, also remembering very distinctly that it had a headphone jack.
