the Nintendo Switch 2 coming off of the massive record-breaking 3.5 million units sold in the
first 4 days the announcement of a brand new Splatoon spin-off game Splatoon Raiders and
the incoming release of Donkey Kong Bonanza We’re going to take a look at what’s next for
the Nintendo Switch what they need to do to keep momentum and what’s happening with the
restocks in addition to some other staggering news with these sales that people aren’t really
talking about and I absolutely want to get into Of course we have the Nintendo Switch 2 giveaway
More details coming up on that and some really good news when it comes to Resident Evil Plus
Ride Out Remastered as well So let’s go ahead and jump right into it here On Twitter I put up a
post discussing how the Nintendo Switch 2 is off to a crazy start with 3.5 million units sold in 4
days brand new Splatoon spin-off and a great 2025 lineup And I think that this is probably going
to be the most important thing that people are going to be talking about when it comes to the
Nintendo Switch 2 What are the next major games coming down the line that’s going to help keep
up the momentum help keep up people going to the stores getting the system and help getting
more developers interested in getting their dev kits and getting games onto the Nintendo Switch
well it’s all driven by the first party software Mario Kart World is the big title that’s getting a
lot of big Mario Kart fans which there’s multiple multiple millions of them which is why Mario Kart
World is a great launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2 Getting them to buy into the system first
and foremost Mission accomplished overall You take what you know with the Nintendo Switch One make it
even better Plus you have that killer app at the beginning Obviously off to an incredible start the
best ever that we’ve seen in the first four days Also shout outs to actually having enough stock to
get that done Most systems do not have 3 million plus units to sell in a 4-day period in the first
place So definitely good to see that But let’s discuss what’s happening next Obviously we’ve got
Donkey Kong Bonanza that is going to be a massive game This is the reinvention of Donkey Kong and
our first big AAA Donkey Kong game in 3D since the N64 We just haven’t seen anything like this It’s a
completely new style of game that’s very different from what we see with Donkey Kong Country Tropical
Freeze or Donkey Kong Country Returns or even the Super Nintendo games Heck even the N64 game that’s
in 3D This is a completely different style of game almost like a new IP in a sense in terms of how
they’re doing the gameplay style but it’s with Donkey Kong and is revised or more like redesigned
version of them that’s more similar to the movies as well So that’s definitely a good thing I think
that makes it to where everything’s kind of in line and I feel that the tech and what they’re
using for Donkey Kong Bonanza is going to be a ton of fun to play The official artwork completely
just I would say captures the essence of the game of Donkey Kong just being an incredibly powerful
monkey that can slam crash and break things into pieces That’s the type of strength that Donkey
Kong has and we’re actually going to be able to play as that in a game of his because like I’ve
said before it’s kind of weird that he’s such a wimp in his previous games because like a rat
or something touches him and he can go running off in one or two hits or so So the fact that he
actually has that brute strength and everything is definitely good to see in his game and I feel that
it really fits what they’re doing Metroid Prime 4 Beyond that’s also another huge game that people
are really anticipating and getting excited for We don’t have a release date for that game but I do
want to give just a little bit of my thoughts on when we could see it I still feel that Nintendo
wants to release Metroid Prime 2 and Metroid Prime 3 before Metroid Prime 4 Beyond drops And I
think that that’s the reason why they haven’t told us the release date I think they know the release
date They’re probably just waiting to kind of see how to slot things in with some of the other games
But I think that they have a general idea of when they’re going to release it But the biggest thing
to me is getting out Metroid Prime 2 and Metroid Prime 3 beforehand I think that’s really what
they’re looking at and saying “Okay where can we put in this remaster or this port collection like
they did with Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 3 before Metroid Prime 4 comes out?” Then give it a little bit of
time after that in order for people to be able to play that and of course build the hype cycle
up for it So I’m guessing that they’re going to have a Nintendo Direct where they are going to
give release dates for some of the other games that are coming this year in 2025 because we still
need release dates for Drag Cross Drive still need a release date for Metroid Prime 4 Beyond and
we need a release date for Kirby Air Riders in addition to Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment
So there are still a number of big games big firstparty titles Nintendo IP titles that need
to get release dates for this year in 2025 So I’m guessing that Nintendo Direct will be announced
and they’ll talk about it there In addition to the new Splatoon Raiders game giving us a release
date and more information on what that game is all about Plus you have the big one here when
it comes to what Nintendo’s releasing in 2025 Pokemon Legends ZA could be one of the bestselling
titles of the year just because it’s going to be on Nintendo Switch One and it’s going to be on
Nintendo Switch 2 But it’s also the first time that Pokemon when it comes to a main big game has
went completely action RPG So there’s a lot of new elements into the game that we haven’t seen before
And of course with the Nintendo Switch 2 you’re going to get much better resolution and frame rate
whereas on the Nintendo Switch One you might have a few hitches here and there based on some of the
early footage that we’ve seen Now we have to wait for the final gameplay and everything So that
could be smoothed out completely but we know for sure that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Pokemon
Legends Z8 is going to probably run really good So overall what’s next for the Nintendo Switch 2
is essentially getting that next big direct out getting a few of those third-party games that
people were maybe worried about announced for the system or some different third-party games
announced for the system Plus on top of having the first party announcements overall and just
maintaining the momentum that they’ve been able to drive having the biggest first four days of
any Nintendo system any home console any device in the history of gaming at this point So that’s
definitely a good thing and we’ll see how it works going forward But we’ll also see who’s going to
win this Nintendo Switch 2 that we have to give away because we are giving away a Nintendo Switch

here guys and we’re going to be discussing what Mr Daniel Ahmed had to say about the Nintendo
Switch 2’s huge sales because there’s some more context that people aren’t adding in here So Pory
Leaks put out this on Twitter talking about how just to give you a scope of how crazy this is it
took the Nintendo Switch One an entire month to sell 2.74 million units Switch 2 sold 3.5 million
in 3 days So obviously that is a huge difference Now Nintendo was a bit supply constrained with
the Nintendo Switch one because they didn’t know how well the system would do So they had about
2 million units for the month of March Nintendo Switch One launched at the very beginning of March
and they were hoping to sell through 2 million units in the first month or so but it ended up
being far more popular than they anticipated So they had to airlift another 700,000 units
into the US in certain regions in order to actually get those sold So that was not bad at
all for Nintendo especially coming off the Wii U and the slow start of the Nintendo 3DS But if
you look at the Nintendo Switch 2 Daniel Ahmed adds this saying “Worth bearing in mind that the
3.5 million figure for Switch 2 is units sold to customers while the 2.74 million for the Nintendo
Switch One was units sold to retailers Not that it makes a huge difference during the launch period
but indicates Switch 2 retail supply is notably greater than 3.5 million And that is a huge thing
to look at because Nintendo essentially just said “Hey look we’re going to sell through everything
that we have here or put everything that we’ve got.” And they sold so much to the point to where
there are sellouts but there still are some places that have stock So Nintendo actually was able to
ship even more than 3.5 million maybe even up to 4 million or something like that when it comes to
units overall They were able to get that many in stores So that is notably I would say impressive
because most of the time you will not have any systems not even most of the time no time has
there ever been a new console launch that has ever had this many units at launch for people
to be able to buy There’s always some type of nonsense going on Whether it’s underestimating the
demand like the Wii or it’s an issue to where it’s like the Nintendo 3DS where people just aren’t
buying it as much or maybe even the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series you’re launching during
COVID and a pandemic and a semiconductor shortage There’s always some weirdness going on but this
is the first time where essentially they have the perfect amount of supply stock and demand overall
to drive the numbers and we saw what happened here at this point So definitely interesting context to
add in and we’ll see how it goes from here Maybe we see four or 5 million units before the end of
the month I think that’s definitely possible at this point based off this information But let’s go
and move on to the next topic here guys And some good news for Resident Evil fans like myself
because Resident Evil Reququum Resident Evil 9 however you want to call it will support first
and third person according to an IGN preview This is my biggest issue that I have with Resident Evil
7 and Resident Evil 8 Although Resident Evil 8 did add a third person mode afterwards but it’s really
weird It wasn’t built with the third person mode in mind So it’s just kind of really weird when it
comes to some of the puzzles and stuff but this game Resident Evil Reququum seems to be built with
first and third person in mind So I can finally be excited for a Resident Evil game when it comes to
some of the bigger ones and not just the remakes I can be excited to play it because I’m just not
as big on first person overall especially with Resident Evil I can stomach it with certain
games like maybe Halo or Metroid Prime but something like Resident Evil to me should be a
third person type of game That’s how I grew up playing Resident Evil was third person So the
fact that they went to first person just kind of threw me off And I never really liked the
first person games but now at this point we finally have that to where they’re going to be
doing both So if you like first person you can do that But if you like third person like me you
can do that as well And I think that this is going to dramatically increase the sales of the game in
Japan where there’s a number of people who don’t like firstperson view because it gets them kind of
nauseated Same thing with me as well So I’m very happy that Capcom decided to make this decision
and do first and third person I think this is going to make for a massive launch overall
And I still feel a lot of people talk about Nintendo Switch 2 and this game I still feel that
Nintendo Switch 2 will get this game at some point don’t know if it’s going to be day and date with
the PlayStation Xbox and PC versions but I still feel that they want to get this game on there
and they’re actively working on doing that And the reason why I say that is because they really
tried to get almost every single major Resident Evil game on the Nintendo Switch One It just
couldn’t necessarily handle the graphics and all that So we had to go with cloud versions
of certain games But they really tried to get everything on there And Resident Evil has been
proven to be a bonafide seller on the Nintendo Switch one with Resident Evil 4 Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 6 All of those did about a million plus on the Nintendo Switch one So you can bet
that Capcom wants to get something going when it comes to Resident Evil They probably want
to do native ports of Resident Evil 4 remake They want to do native ports of Resident Evil 8
Resident Evil 7 Some of those are cloud on the Nintendo Switch One So I think they actually want
to get the full games ported onto the system So we will see what happens going forward in the future
overall with Resident Evil 9 But what do you guys think about this when it comes to first and third
person confirmed for Resident Evil Reququum let me know in the comment section below But now we’re
going to move on to a very highly anticipated game that’s coming out not too long from now and
that is Ryowl Remastered: Mystery of the Soulless Army We got our first review of the game and it
looks like it’s turned out pretty good overall Usually with Famitsu they do four different
reviewers and then they all give one score out of 10 So they can give from 1 to 10 And the game has
received three eights So that’s 24 plus 1 nine So that’s 33 Not a bad score at all for this type of
game And this is a game that I’ve been wanting to go back and play for a while now especially after
really getting back into SMT with SMT 5 And of course you had Metaphor Refantasio And that’s not
necessarily SMT game but there’s some similarities here and there but just Atlas games are just great
You have Persona 3 Reload the new announcement of Persona 4 Revival Obviously Persona 5 Royal was
fantastic So I play all the different games here And Ride Out is one of those games that people
have been asking to play for a long time bring it back because this is a PS2 game and from what
I understand there’s been no remaster remake re-release of this game at any point It’s been
like 20 years or something like that and Atlas has just been sitting on it for a while So just
like SMT3 when it comes to that and them bringing that back that was pretty hype but now we have
this game as well Look like it’s pretty solid too Now another thing that I want to note here
is the Nintendo Switch One and Nintendo Switch 2 versions Unfortunately there’s no upgrade path for
it and there’s no actual physical game card for the Nintendo Switch 2 It’s a key card game but
the Nintendo Switch One version does obviously work on the Nintendo Switch 2 but there’s some
30fps caps on there or there’s 30 FPS and then 60 for battles So we need to know if that’s
uncapped That might be able to run at 60 fps just throughout the Switch One version running on
Switch 2 but something tells me that it’s a capped frame rate So it’s not going to do that But you do
have an option if you want a physical version of Ride Out Remastered but want to play that on your
Nintendo Switch 2 But remember the Nintendo Switch 2 version is going to get you better resolution
and 60fps the whole time out compared to the 30 and 64 battles that the Nintendo Switch One
does have If you buy the game on PS4 and PS5 that does have a free upgrade though so there
is that too So what do you guys think when it comes to everything that we discussed here there
was a lot of stuff to go over Let me know in the comment section below All right guys That wraps
