Can I Use The FIRST iPhone in 2024?

AI-Generated Summary

Today, I tested the first-ever iPhone for a full day, starting with taking photos for Instagram. Without a front camera, I got creative to include both the Statue of Liberty and myself in a shot, and the results were surprisingly good. However, I couldnโ€™t post directly to Instagram since this iPhone canโ€™t run apps newer than 2007, meaning no YouTube, bike unlocks, or food delivery. It provided basic walking directions but lacked GPS, and its 2G network made calls and texts impossible. Despite these limitations, it navigated streets and subways well, and I even got engrossed in a virtual pool game, missing my stop. After a full day, it still had over 20% battery, outperforming my modern iPhone.

this is the first ever iPhone and I’m going to try using it for an entire day starting with trying to take pictures for Instagram unfortunately there’s no front camera so it forced me to get creative to get the Statue of Liberty and me in the same photo and surprisingly the rest of the pictures turned out really well however I couldn’t post them directly onto Instagram because this iPhone can’t run any apps newer than 2007 which means unfortunately you can’t use it to watch YouTube videos unlock a city bike or order food delivery however I did get it to provide vague walking directions so there’s no GPS and because it runs on 2G it no longer works to text or call anyone if you get lost but it was able to navigate the streets and the subway where I got so engrossed in this virtual Pool app that I missed my stop then after a full day of use it still has more than 20% battery that’s better than my regular iPhone
