All right what’s good everyone OJ here Welcome 
back to another video Let’s go ahead and jump   right into the big information with the Nintendo 
Switch 2 We’re talking about Amazon Japan and what   is going down with the Nintendo Switch 2 there We 
know that things are a little bit different when   it comes to the talk surrounding the Japanese 
market compared to the Western market and what   gamers are saying but nonetheless gamers are 
excited pretty much worldwide for the Nintendo   Switch 2 But hype is building up even more because 
Amazon Japan actually got a restock apparently   because they’re selling Nintendo Switch 2 systems 
on Amazon Japan which that is completely different   from Amazon in the US where there are no Nintendo 
Switch 2 being sold for pre-order or being sold   there But in Japan they actually have that So I 
wanted to actually cover it because that’s pretty   cool that Amazon is getting Nintendo Switch 2 
systems but it immediately shot back up to the   best selling item on Amazon Japan the moment it 
was back in stock Now I know that when it comes   to Amazon and Japan and things like that retailers 
are very interesting with this type of stuff We   know that Japan has a pretty crazy way of doing 
things when it comes to the most loyal customers   are getting first dibs on the Nintendo Switch 
2 from certain retailers in Japan It looks like   this could be the biggest selling launch console 
of all time in Japan when it drops because we know   that there was an interest of 2.2 million people 
specifically for the my Nintendo Nintendo Switch   2 lottery Like just going through that for the 
most dedicated players 2.2 million people signing   up That is the type of interest that Nintendo has 
never seen at launch for any platform even their   bestselling ones like the Nintendo Wii or even the 
Nintendo DS I mean there was no way to gauge it   back then but there was no way that it would have 
been that high overall considering how the system   sold right there at launch or at least what they 
had for the stock overall So the fact that Amazon   Japan it’s shooting back up to the top here along 
with just a number of different games You look   at the Nintendo Switch name overall it’s Switch 
it’s Switch 2 There’s zero confusion So you can   definitely criticize some things when it comes to 
how the roll out has been for information with the   Nintendo Switch 2 but you cannot criticize in 
terms of people knowing the name and the exact   marketing plan overall because people know 
exactly what this system is They know exactly   what it is And it’s very easy to say “Okay this 
is your Switch One This is now your Switch 2.”   And obviously Japan is going to be buying a 
lot of these overall But yeah I thought it was   interesting that yes they’re getting restocks 
there which is definitely good We know that   Nintendo already stated that they were going 
to have problems supplying the 2.2 million to   the just mine Nintendo overall because that 
doesn’t count the rest of Japan and all the   other retailers So I think that yeah this could 
ultimately be the biggest or best launch ever for   a video game system when it comes to sales It’s 
going to be on Nintendo though to keep the games   flowing keep the stuff happening with Nintendo 
Switch 2 There needs to be drops all the time   I’m really hoping that Nintendo make sure that 
they have great deals set in place to position   themselves with the third-party developers and 
making sure their launch lineup is solid just   because what I don’t want is something that kind 
of happened with the Nintendo Switch One where   we got a pretty huge launch and roll out over 
the final nine months of the year And then the   following year it seemed like things were a bit 
quiet overall because there wasn’t those deals   set in place with third party and there wasn’t as 
many firstparty titles because they made sure that   the launch was incredible the first 9 months plus 
or so So I think that hopefully Nintendo can make   sure that that doesn’t happen here because we have 
the first six or seven months for the rest of the   year And then what’s going to happen after that We 
know about Dusk Bloods but just making sure that   you have a solid lineup of games rolling into 
the next year That’s good Now I know things are   going to be a bit tougher because you do have the 
stronger system the increased development period   Games aren’t getting cheaper or easier to make 
I know that’s for sure But hopefully Nintendo   can continue to have that momentum and continue 
to get stock overall So it definitely seems like   Japanese gamers are getting geared up and ready 
to go when it comes to the Nintendo Switch 2 But   I hope you guys are getting geared up and ready to

thing that an analyst said recently about the   Nintendo Switch 2 and the popularity that it’s 
having Now there’s been some little fun poked   on this on Twitter and some of my other fellow 
content creators have talked about what Mr Matt   Piscatella had to say in a recent interview with 
Games Radar but I do actually respect his opinion   when it comes down to it I just want to make 
a couple different adjustments overall when it   comes down to what’s being said here or at least 
give my take on it So in this interview he talked   about the Nintendo Switch 2 launch and what’s 
happening with it And he starts off by saying   quote I think that the thing with this is that if 
you have such an enthusiastic dedicated audience   that I don’t think the launch lineup matters at 
all Piscatella told Games Radar Plus what matters   I think is the lineup as it looks 6 months in 
when you have to start really trying to go after   the more mass market or console enthusiast buyer 
not just the Nintendo dedicated fan because that   person is going to buy this thing no matter what 
and he continues talking about other things in   the world Things are kind of dire when it comes 
down to the situation And this is where a lot   of the stuff that he said was kind of critiqued 
by other people So let’s get into it Quote “It’s   been a long time and people are looking for things 
to kind of get their mind off of what’s going on   elsewhere.” Piscatella said “You can even see 
it online Just the desire people have to have   something to be excited about I don’t know maybe 
it’s just my own perspective but I just see this   palpable desperation in a sense of wanting to find 
something to bring joy Now that is where people   kind of are like “What the heck is he talking 
about People just want to find something to bring   joy because of all the despair in the world.” And 
I’ll say this most content creators I wouldn’t   even say most content creators but just like 
people in general have this picture of everybody   is just okay Everybody’s just fine And people 
sometimes have bad days but that’s just about it   And yeah that’s not the case Like there’s a lot 
of really angry and miserable people You can   tell just by going on Twitter man You can tell 
just by social media People are just miserable   at times And do I think that’s the reason why 
people are super excited and go out and buying   it because they have desperation in the world 
Not necessarily But I do think that games are an   escape Games do provide something different Games 
are definitely you know something to where people   want to escape from the real world And there are 
going to be people to where this game system this   Nintendo Switch 2 is going to help them feel a 
lot of happiness when their normal situation is   really bad Whether that’s going to be a bad home 
situation or problems at school there’s a lot of   things that a game system can really change up 
to really make someone feel a certain type of   way Look I’ve been there myself before There was a 
time when I was in a pretty bad spot back in like   2013 or so and Fire Emblem Awakening really helped 
me overall just kind of get out of that bad spot   when it comes to just my mental So while I don’t 
necessarily agree 100% when it comes down to it I   do feel that there is some type of truth in terms 
of people being excited about the next thing when   it comes to their favorite franchises and feeling 
better and escape from the BS that happens IRL   overall So that’s what I would say with that 
don’t 100% agree with that’s the reason just   because I think it’s just the games and people 
being excited and it’s been 8 years and people   want to play the next Mario Kart and all of that 
like I think that’s really just what it is but   there is some truth to what he has to say in terms 
of people using video games as an escape and being   excited about this next thing and honestly man 
if you look at like the landscape of gaming right   now outside of it let’s just say you’re outside 
of you know Nintendo Microsoft and Sony I mean   there’s definitely some things to be desired for 
some people not for everyone but for some people   this generation has been a little bit meh overall 
So I think that some people are in that same boat   when it comes to just looking forward to playing 
you know some Nintendo higher quality games than   what we got with the Nintendo Switch One at least 
So that’s my thought on that I know everyone might   not agree but that’s kind of how I feel You guys 
let me know how you feel in the comment section   But now let’s get into some of these rumors here 
with Rockstar and some of their older titles   getting remastered for the Nintendo Switch 2 
Xbox and PlayStation as well Also this comes   from a pretty notable leaker here Mr Tez 2 says 
that there will be an upgraded version a port of   Grand Theft Auto 4 coming to modern platforms Now 
the question was phrased “Have you by chance heard   anything about a potential GTA 4 remaster/port 
for modern gen consoles?” And this is what Mr   Tez had to say Someone at Rockstar hinted at 
the four port And by now it should have gone   up to a year in development we may end up seeing 
it drop later this year and it’s one more reason   in addition to existing reasons the LCP mod was 
taken down If they still follow their plan laid   out from the pandemic days they’ll do a Max Pain 
3 port after 4 So that is an opportunity to do   a bundle or definitive edition Max Pain 1 and two 
remakes and Max Pain 3 ports So this is definitely   exciting for people who do like the old school 
Rockstar back then Let me tell you guys something   Rockstar used to do more than Shark Cards 
and GTA Online Honestly I kid you not I mean   obviously most of you guys already know this but 
if you don’t know man Rockstar used to actually   make games Multiple Max Panes multiple GTA they 
made table tennis They made all sorts of stuff   Multiple Red Dead games I mean well not multiple 
They didn’t have Red Dead before them but anyway   they made a lot of stuff Like Rockstar actually 
made titles They had Bully They had all sorts of   cool stuff man So I mean if they can bring those 
games back obviously that era is over and I think   Rockstar’s made it very clear that they’re not 
going to be returning to actually making all   different types of games but if they can just 
bring back a lot of those games and put them   on modern consoles that would be good enough for 
most people considering they have a pretty long   backlog of games that are not ported to modern 
systems Now there’s some backwards compatibility   that you can do or maybe you can find them on PC 
and playing that way But it would be great to have   PlayStation 5 Xbox Series native in addition to 
Nintendo Switch 2 native versions of Bully of   Max Pain of GTA 4 of these games And I think the 
interesting thing would be if they bring over GTA   4 to the Nintendo Switch 2 do they bring over GTA 
5 which is still not on the Nintendo Switch at all   So I think that’d be pretty cool because they did 
bring over the GTA Trilogy which was riddled with   all sorts of issues but ended up getting patched 
to be better on the Nintendo Switch and other   systems So I think it’d be pretty cool if they 
one released the update for a Nintendo Switch   2 version of the GTA Trilogy and then two brought 
over all this stuff that we’re talking about here   Max Pane one and two Max Pain 3 That would be dope 
to have on the Nintendo Switch 2 People still play   Max Pain 3 to this day considering the shooting 
and the mechanics and the story in that game GTA   4 I don’t like that game at all Well I mean it’s 
okay I played it and beat it back in the day but   I told myself man I’m done with GTA after this I 
had fun but it wasn’t necessarily the oh my gosh   groundbreaking experience that reviewers were 
saying it was Now it might be that objectively   sure but for me I just didn’t have as much fun 
playing the game But I thought it was cool So   if they bring that over that would be great Nico 
Bellic man He’s kind of like old school low-key   like goated in GTA history overall with some of 
the stuff that happened there So if they did that   that would be great and I think people would enjoy 
that And that’s one way that we can actually get   more games from Rockstars for them to bring back 
their older library like they’ve been doing here   and there They brought back Red Dead Redemption 
1 as well We got a remaster of that and that was   pretty cool Remaster/port So we’ll see more of 
this in the future it seems I didn’t know about   this but apparently yeah they took down somebody 
that was already trying to do some type of mod   or some type of remaster of GTA 4 So if they took 
that down then yeah they’re working on their own   thing overall So what do you guys think about that

here The Famitsu sales have finally come back   And what it shows is that there is a hunger there 
is a longing there is something that is happening   with the Nintendo Switch 2 is brewing up because 
the console sales have pretty much tanked across   the board But we did also get the first sales 
numbers for the 100 line last defense academy for   the Nintendo Switch and Clear Obscure Expedition 
33 for the PlayStation 5 So when it comes to the   100 line last defense academy that sold 26,732 
retail units Now remember this does not include   digital sales at all So if you include digital 
we’re probably looking at 30,000 units plus for   the past couple weeks because this is from April 
21st to May 4th 2025 Clear Obscure Exhibition 33   That was in at number four with 9,825 units 
But that game it’s going to sell way more in   the West And I’m pretty sure that they probably 
shipped no copies of the game because that game   has had physical droughts Like you can still not 
order It’s still kind of like sold out and they’re   looking to restock So they didn’t expect it to 
be a big physical hit They didn’t expect it to be   as big of a hit as maybe it is when it comes down 
to it but they did a great job with the marketing   Obviously the word of mouth has been incredible 
but yeah it’s pretty good that whatever stock   they sent to Japan it probably sold through most 
of it or anything I’m enjoying Clare Obscure I’m   like 50 something hours in I’m getting near the 
end of the game and it’s fantastic I still need   to play the 100 line last defense academy Haven’t 
played it yet but I will purchase it and play it   at some point We also have the rest of the top 10 
which is essentially just older Nintendo games and   other titles as well Although there was one 
other notable title Fatal Fury: City of the   Wolves from SNK that only sold 6,32 units on the 
PlayStation 5 So not much there but yeah we’ll   see how it does in the future as a fighting game 
and updates come out The Nintendo Switch hardware   over the past couple weeks sold 56,58 units 
The PS5 sold 20,204 units So that’s okay But   that’s essentially like 25,000 units plus for the 
Nintendo Switch and then about 10,000 or so for   the PlayStation over that course of time So sales 
when it comes to consoles are definitely tanking   and really they’re just waiting for the Nintendo 
Switch 2 Everyone’s just kind of waiting for that   system But especially in Japan the Nintendo Switch 
2 people are just waiting for that And then once   that comes out that’s really going to be the new 
number one kind of moving into the best sellers   But what do you guys think overall when it comes
