Well, it’s that time of the week again when we get to talk about brand new VR games coming out this week, new VR games coming out next week, and of course, some of that juicy juicy VR gaming news. First of all, don’t forget to smash that like button if you enjoy this video. And second of all, I want to thank today’s channel sponsor, Katana Red Flowers. Meet your new favorite ninja with whiskers. Katana Red Flowers is a fast, stylish VR action platformer where you leap, slash, and claw your way through waves of enemies. And you’ll do all of that as a feline shinobi. Whether you want a Tarantino style mayhem or a cozy clean adventure, you can decide with adjustable brutality settings. Fast-paced parkour style movement letting you leap literally from pillar to post. But there’s more to this as you can be a blur of blades one minute taking out all the bad guys to just a cat vibing in the garden with some epic, stylish, and smooth samurai slices. This is one I’m really looking forward to playing myself. Massive thank you to them for sponsoring today’s video. If you want a chance to play the alpha of this sport, they’re going to be letting you have a chance very soon. Sign up to that in the description or in the pinned comments. Also, you can wishlist this game right now. You’ll find those links in the same places. Thank you for sponsoring today’s video. Katana Red Flowers. Keep your eyes peeled for this one. It looks pretty badass. Now, let’s dive into the very first game on new VR games this week. Well, it was a hell of a week when it comes to VR releases, and we have a couple that I want to talk about today. Kicking it off with The Midnight War. This is a game I have personally been looking forward to really since it was the second it was announced. I’ve wanted to get my teeth into this game and now I finally can say that I have. I’ve played this on both PSVR 2 and PC VR right now. I would say the PC VR version of this is probably the cleaner version. Unfortunately, they had a few little issues and teething issues with it on the PSVR 2. Uh that still are kind of present. Uh it’s not awful, it’s just a bit reproed and it just isn’t the cleanest way to play the game right now. I would highly recommend if you can play it on Steam. But what is the game? Is it good? Is it bad? Well, let me tell you a little bit about that. This is kind of like a horror adventure almost riding the line on a kind of a platformery kind of feel to it, but this is just like this really epic adventure that kind of goes through some mentally health stuff, a really solid story, and it’s all done through this sort of claymation style animation which just lends itself to just a mind-blowing experience in my opinion. I personally truly love this game. I enjoyed every single second I spent in it. It wasn’t the most gripping as in like pull you in to play it every 5 minutes, but every time I got in there, I just truly enjoyed the experience that it had and I really liked the message it brought to us at the end of this game. So, I highly recommend that you check this one out. Like I say, right now I would recommend more so that you play on PC as it’s really just the cleaner experience, but if you only have PSVR 2, it’s still not going to be a terrible experience. But just know that there is a bit of reprojection. Um, and I’m pretty sure that they’re going to iron out fairly fast. So maybe hold on until I can tell you that it’s time to buy it. Next up, we have Surviving Mars. Now, this was a game that was once upon a time, just a flat game, and it’s been brought into virtual reality now. Now, if you are a massive Surviving Mars fan, well, then let me know in the comments whether you’ve tried this and what you think about it. Because personally, after diving in myself, I wasn’t that impressed with the game. It felt like it had quite a lot of teething issues, sort of really just stuff that could have been done with being ironed out and sort of debugged a little bit before releasing. Um, but on top of that, I just felt like it was a bit of a boring game. like it was very very grindy. Uh, and in a couple of hours I really dove into this game, I didn’t really feel any threat of anything. Uh, it just kind of like they nailed the solitude feeling, but on top of that, it just I don’t know. I just I just really wasn’t vibing with this game. So, I can’t particularly recommend this one myself, but I would love to hear the opinion of people in the comments down below. If you’ve played this, let me know why you think it’s good and let me know what it is about this game that sort of drew you in. VR gaming news. Well, this is always my favorite part of the weekly roundup and that is the VR gaming news. There is a ton to talk about as well because well, I haven’t been doing this for a couple weeks because I was away for a bit and now we can round these things up with some freaking exciting news. And let’s kick it off with what I think is the most exciting news and something I know a ton of you have been commenting to me about for ages and that is the fact that Hard Bullet is finally coming to Quest. And yes, we finally have a date of May 27th. So, Hard Bullet, if you’re unaware, is probably one of the more sort of brutal games that exists in virtual reality with some epic gore, some freaking dope fighting, and essentially turn you into a John Wick maniac. You can just go through this sandbox or, you know, wave shootery type experience. A really solid game. I bloody love Hard Bullet. I’ve got a very, you know, sincere love for this game. It’s got a place in my heart as it was a huge part of my channel at one point. And I just freaking like this game. Not only that, but if you go into the sandbox, there is a crown in there. That’s right, baby. They have a Reese King crown in this game. So, if you find that, then I don’t know, tag me somewhere. Show me a picture of it. Next up, Vendetta Forever has just had a brand new update as well, adding five new scenes to the game, just giving you a little reason to jump back in there if you already own it. Kind of just adding a bit more value to the bang for the buck that you spent on this game. These are really fun scenes. I have jumped in and tried them myself. It’s really cool. It’s a good experience. If you like the game, well, it’s just more of this game. So, no reason not to jump back in and check out Vendetta Forever again. Actually, this is one of those games as well that I will say if you haven’t tried this, like don’t let the trailers put you off cuz it’s actually a ridiculously fun game to play once you get your teeth into it. I was very pessimistic of this game initially cuz I was like, well, is it just super hot or is it pistol whip? What the hell are you trying to be? But actually, when you get into this game, it’s stupidly fun and pretty damn addictive. Next up, some pretty cool news. Guardian of Realms has just gone free to play. Now, a lot of you will know this is a game that I worked on. I mean, you’re going to literally hear my voice lines throughout this game and like really a lot of passion from the team at Sin Studio just absolutely was poured into this mixed reality experience to make it the best it can possibly be. I still feel like it’s probably the most unique mixed reality experience that you can possibly find on Quest as of right now. And like I just said, this is now free to play. So, this is the time to jump in and check out Guardian Realms. If you own a Quest 3 or a Quest 3S, this game’s free. Jump in there. Essentially turning your room into this epic sandbox experience where you’re going to open up your walls into portals, be able to fight these epic battles, use some super cool props, and just go to town on this freaking awesome sandbox experience. And on top of that, of course, you know, you do have a survival mode in there as well. This is really exciting news to me because I think everyone is now going to finally get a chance to play this game. There is no barrier to entry. It’s just free. So jump in and experience this game. This project really means a lot to me. So if you have a Quest 3 or Quest 3s, go download it. Try it this weekend. Leave a review. Let us know what your thoughts and opinions are on this game. It’s coming out of early access as well now. So you guys can just, you know, go and play this. Go freaking play it. It’s free. Next up is some stupidly exciting news. And this is one I’ve been really freaking waiting for since the announcement of this. And it is Into the Radius 2 is coming to the Quest. Now, Into the Radius one when it came to the Quest blew my freaking mind. They really nailed it to the point where it still felt like the PC port. I’m hoping to god that they can get that right for the the for the two as well for Into the Radius 2. So, I’m really excited about this game coming to standalone. It makes it so much easier and accessible just to jump into and get into the game when it’s on standalone versus, you know, having to set up your PC and mess around with all that sort of stuff. So, I’m looking forward to the accessibility of it now being on Quest. I’m very very excited about it and it’s coming out really soon. It’s May 21st, so we don’t even have long to wait for this. If you’re a big fan of Into Radius and you have a lot to look forward to when it comes to this because well, it’s now flipping multiplayer as well as being the epic game that we all know it is. So, stupidly excited about this. This is a great freaking game and I’ve already played it a ton on PC and now I’m going to be able to play it a ton again on standalone. And not only that, but loads of other people are going to be able to play it as well. This is one to seriously keep your eye out on. It finally happened. Ghost of Tabore has landed on the PSVR 2. If you own a PSVR 2, absolutely no-brainer. There’s nothing quite like this that exists on that platform right now. If you want to get in and have an extraction shooter experience where you really are going to have trust issues by the time you come out of it, well then Ghost of Tabore is going to be for you. And it’s right there. You can freaking go and play this right now. So yeah, if you like your guns, if you like really destroying people and you know, you can go in there with friends of course and have a really good time with your mates, but if you want to go in solo and just grind this out, it’s a freaking intense game, man. You’re going to feel on edge literally from the second you land inside of Tabore to the second that you extract out of there and hopefully get that freaking sweet loot home. But more likely, you’re just going to get shot in the face and someone else is going to steal your loot. That that happens quite a lot. But yeah, it’s super exciting news. This is great for the PSVR2 users. You guys have just got a freaking treat. Go and enjoy. Last but not least in this section of the video, Zombie Army VR just dropped a brand new trailer. And honestly, this is looking super promising. Now, this is really exciting to me because watching through this trailer, it really looks like they have paid attention to all the feedback that both me and a bunch of other VR YouTubers gave them back at Gamescom about 5 months ago when we all got to try this game out. At the time, it was a little rough around the edges and it was due to come out back then, not not long after. So, they listened. they held it off and they’ve done a ton more work on this game. It’s really looking like it’s going to be in a good state. Of course, that is only based on a trailer, so really I can’t tell you this is going to be a good game or a bad game up until I get my hands on it. Um, but I definitely will be letting you know whether this is a good or a bad game when it comes to it. Not only that, though, but I’m just feeling like they’ve actually listened. There’s so much positivity inside of this trailer of things that I I I personally told them like, “This is crap. You need to change the way that this is.” So, I’m really hoping that they’ve listened to that. Like I say, on the surface, it looks like they have. I think it’s actually time to get a little bit excited about this game. Now, of course, as always, wait until we get the reviews out for this. Wait till I personally played it and I can guarantee you that it’s actually a good experience. But what is this? Zombie Army VR X-ray gun kills. Freaking going in there on your own or co-op, which is freaking awesome. Um, I’m actually really looking forward to experiencing this with some friends. Uh, and not only that, you’re just killing a bunch of Z’s having a freaking cool time in a game that I love. I love the Sniper Elite series anyway. So, this is just like, you know, a little bit of freaking seasoning on top. Coming up next week. Well, if you own a PSVR 2, then it’s probably going to be some good news for you because Pirates VR Jolly Rodger is making its way to the PSVR 2 next week. Now, this is actually a really fun, unique little game. And again, something like I don’t think there’s anything quite like this on the PSVR 2 currently. So, this is a good time to be alive. Uh, I don’t know whether this is going to be a good experience or a bad experience yet. I personally haven’t been able to try it. I also don’t know if this is going to be like a reproed reproed type thing. So, again, I I can’t say it’s going to be a great experience until I’ve had a chance to play it. But, nonetheless, this is a really cool game where you get in as a pirate. Shocker, I know. Um, who would have guessed with a title like that? And you get to go on this like adventure. It’s It’s pretty cool. I’ve played through it on PC. I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’m not going to spoil anything, but do know that the actual core experience of this game is freaking cool. It’s fun. It’s not the most epic game I’ve ever played, but it’s it’s definitely core-wise pretty damn fun. So, if this is done well on the PSVR 2, this is probably pretty much a no-brainer to pick up. Smash Drums is also making its way to the PSVR. I know PSVR2 users freaking rejoice. You got some dope ass games coming out last week and this week. Um, Smash Drums is one of those cool ass rhythm games. And I mean cool ass rhythm games because it’s actually the one rhythm game that I truly actually like. Um, this game just lets you feel like an absolutely freaking badass drummer as you blast your way through a ton of different songs that are in this game. And I mean a ton of different songs. Not just that, I’m a little biased. There’s also a Reese King drum set inside of this game so you can play with my freaking skins. Last but not least, we have Tunnels coming out next week as well. Now, this is a cat and mouse style game where you’re going to be splunking and trying to get your way out of this freaking terribly tight cave whilst also trying to avoid being eaten by a freaking terrible monster. Yeah. So, if you like being spooked out, freaked out, and really just getting that heart freaking pounding, then Tunnels is probably going to be for you because not only do you have the claustrophobic nature of the cave and trying to [ย __ย ] escape Noop and trying to escape this thing. Well, no. You also have a monster chasing you at the same time. The idea, I believe, is to escape through all of the tunnels and actually escape the cave system all the way back out into reality again. And if you can do that, then you avoid them being killed by a monster. So yeah, if that sounds fun to you, that’s coming out next week. Well, there you have it, guys. That is today’s video. It’s been an absolute pleasure to be back here doing this. I missed last week’s, in fact, I missed about 10 days worth of videos because I was out traveling around France having the time of my life. So yeah, sucks for you guys, but I had an amazing time. But I am back in full force, baby. So don’t you worry, there’s going to be a ton more content coming out on the channel now. We’re back to doing these weekly videos and of course I’ll be doing some other cool videos as well. I’ve actually got some pretty fun projects in the works. So keep your eyes on the channel. There’s a lot of cool stuff happening. If you enjoyed this video, smash that like button, subscribe, and all that good stuff. More than anything, as I finish this, I just want to say thank you to all of you lot for just really supporting this channel. 2025 already shaping up to be an incredible year for the channel and that’s really down to just you guys. So, a massive thank you to you. The support and love that you show this channel, it means the absolute world to me. So, thank you very much for being so awesome. And uh let’s continue to do that and let’s continue to make some freaking dope videos so that you guys can enjoy it. Peace out everybody. Take care. Have a good weekend. Let me know what you’re playing in the comments down below.
