the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is coming
with some big changes and will of course be Samsung’s most powerful phone yet so hit
subscribe now and we’ll get right into it so first up we’ve got news that Samsung is heavily
investing into AI for improvements across the board we’ve already seen in recent releases with
Galaxy AI that this has been one of Samsung’s biggest focus points according to Bloomberg
they’re now looking at a deal with Perplexity and it’s going to be to build AI search tools
directly into Samsung’s phones as an alternative to traditional search engines and if the deal goes
ahead we could see Perplexity AI assistant on the phones as well as the AI capabilities being built
into Samsung’s browser and this is just another feature to help you save time when searching now
something else that can save you time and money is today’s video sponsor Airalo which is the
first and toprated eSIM in the world and it’s going to save you a huge amount of money when
traveling now Airalo reached out to me but I’m actually a huge fan of the app and started using
it for months ago and I’ve used it multiple times since my recent trip to Thailand and Malaysia
it would have cost me £9 with my provider at £5 a day but thanks to Airalo I bought an eim
for only £9.50 it lasted 30 days along with 10 gigabytes of data and made me a huge saving you
can also use my code TT3 to get $3 off your first eSIM purchase it’s 100% digital meaning there’s no
waste the app automatically installs the eSIM for you or you can install it manually if you prefer
they’ve got over 200 regions and countries covered meaning wherever you go in the world you’re going
to be able to find a suitable eSIM now of course I’ve placed the link down in the description below
so go ahead and download Airalo today and use my code TT3 to start saving money on your next trip
now back to the S26 Ultra and we’ve got news that Samsung may be getting a different version of the
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 and of course it’s going to be a better version there have been reports
that we could see two versions of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 one of them is going to be a 3nm
chipset and then the other is going to be a 2nm and every year we see Samsung using a slightly
different version of the chip but according to new reports TSMC is going to manufacture some
versions of the Snapdragon on their 3nanmter process and Samsung Foundry is then going to be
manufacturing the 2nm version under the name made for Galaxy and given that Samsung devices come
much later than the first phones using these Snapdragon chipsets it could well be possible now
news is still light on the ground at the moment but this would certainly be a huge bonus for
Samsung so let me know your guys’ thoughts in the comments now next up we got news that the Galaxy
S26 Ultra could actually be much thinner this year and Leica Crow was tweeted on X to say that the
S26 Ultra is surprisingly slim now we recently had the launch of the Edge model where Samsung
showed us how thin they can make a smartphone and it’s reported that this is going to be a focus
for the S26 Ultra although thinning of the phone could also create some problems with the S Pen
housing as well as internal space for things like the battery and this year the S Pen was lacking
some Bluetooth support so we can only assume it’s going to be the same with the S26 Ultra and
with a less featurerich S Pen maybe they can thin the S Pen down a little bit more to fit inside a
thinner phone now there are also reports that the camera lenses are going to undergo inkjet printing
process and this was published in a patent Samsung filed back in 2018 and this would reduce the
camera size and hopefully reduce the camera bump as well when it comes to the S26 Ultra cameras
it’s still going to be a 200 megapixel primary camera although leaks suggest an improved sensor
we’ve also got news of a new camera feature on the rear and it’s actually going to be a feature that
we saw on the S10 as according to Ice Universe the S26 Ultra is going to be coming with variable
aperture while previous phones had a dual aperture we could see a triple or maybe even a quadruple
aperture this time round which just adds a lot more versatility when shooting photos and videos
now we’ve also got plenty of reports of an underd display camera on the front of the S26 Ultra and
of course this is going to be a huge upgrade but only if the photo and video capture is good enough
now another big upgrade for the S26 is going to be in the battery department with a new silicon
carbon battery that’s got a higher energy density meaning we’re going to get a larger battery
capacity and they’re also safer than lithium ion with a lower risk of overheating which also
means we could see some significant improvements to the fast charging something that the S phones
have been lacking for some time now according to Benner Pro on X the battery capacity of the
S26 Ultra is going to be anywhere between 5,500 and 6,000 miamp while we’ve got no news
on the fast charging I’m really hoping that we do see a decent bump this time round now another
recent tweet from Panda Flash on X says that the battery capacity isn’t final yet but it’s under
5,400 milliamp so it’s a little bit conflicting but for Samsung to reduce the thickness of the
S26 Ultra then silicon carbon batteries would of course be a good way to do that now for those of
you excited for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra we’re now going to run through the full specs design and
the pricing to help you guys decide which one is right for you so hit subscribe now and we’ll get
right into it so first up we’ve got the standard Galaxy S26 which is coming with a 6.2 in dynamic
AMOLED display with improvements to brightness and color accuracy we get a 120 Hz display with
HDR10 plus and a resolution of 1080x 2340 and it’s going to be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 3
we get a 12AP punch hole camera for the selfies then over on the rear it’s a triple camera setup
consisting of a wide an ultra wide and a telephoto but unfortunately at this time we don’t know the
exact sensors being used it’s going to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 and it’s coming
with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 gigs of storage which will be UFS4 it’s coming with a 4,000
mAh battery with 25 watt fast charging and 15 watt wireless charging and it will of course
come with 5G Bluetooth 5.4 Wi-Fi 7 and ultra wideband support and it’s going to be launching
with 1 UI8 based on Android 16 and it’s expected to launch from $800 in January 2026 now next
up we’ve got the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus which may also be the S26 Edge and it’s coming with a
6.7 in dynamic AMOLED display with improvements to brightness and color accuracy we get a 120 Hz
display with HDR10 plus a resolution of 1440 by 3120 and it’s protected by Gorilla Glass Victors
3 we get a 12 megapixel punch hole camera for the selfies then over on the rear it’s a dual camera
setup consisting of a wide and an ultra wide but unfortunately at this time we don’t know the
exact sensors being used now it’s going to be powered up by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 and
it’s coming with 12 gigs of RAM and a choice of 256 or 512 storage which will be UFS4 and it’s
coming with a 4,900 millia battery with 45 watt fast charging and 15 watt wireless charging and it
will of course come with 5G Bluetooth 5.4 Wi-Fi 7 and ultra wideband support and it’s going to be
launching with 1 UI8 based on Android 16 and is expected to launch from around $1,000 in January
2026 now finally we’ve got the most premium model the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the S26 Ultra
is coming with a 6.9 in dynamic AMOLED display and again we’ve got improvements to brightness
and color accuracy we got a 120 Hz display with HDR10 plus and a resolution of 1440 by 3120 and
it’s going to be protected by Gorilla Glass Armor 3 now there are many reports of the first under
panel camera on the Sphone this is likely going to be an 8 megapixel under panel selfie camera
then over on the rear we get a quad camera setup consisting of a wide an ultrawide a telephoto
and a periscope camera but again at this moment in time we don’t know the exact sensors being used
it’s going to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 in all regions and it’s coming with 12 GB
of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage which will of course be UFS4 now it’s coming with up to a 6,000
mAh battery with significant improvements to the fast charging and it will of course come with 5G
Bluetooth 5.4 Wi-Fi 7 and ultra wideband support it’s launching with 1 UI8 based on Android 16
it is expected to launch from around $1,300 in January 2026 so overall it’s looking like the
Samsung Galaxy S26 series is going to be an exciting release in terms of hardware especially
if Samsung manufacture that 2nm chipset but it’s looking like Samsung is going to be continuing
the same strategy of improving and refining their phones rather than just completely redesigning
them this is going to deliver a fairly similar looking phone now as with all new phones at the
moment there’s going to be a lot of effort and focus put into software with AI playing a huge
role in that so it’s going to be exciting to see what new features we get from the S26 series
but of course launch is still quite a way away at the moment and of course we’ll get more and
more information as we approach it and I’ll be sharing it as soon as it comes in so make sure you
subscribe so you don’t miss a thing in the future
