as many of you know I have been a huge fan of the work of any dreams synapse is my favorite VR game of all time and I’m honored to present this new groundbreaking title from the team it is my pleasure to introduce you to Reach [Music] I’m ready for whatever you won’t find nobody better i will bring a storm to your weather you ready or not coming in high i am a legend in the making you’re looking into the eyes of greatness got to push through the world’s pain i will not lose i will not lose i will not lose i’m a legend i’m ready legends always ever legends always never ever say I’m ready to beat my fame count me out legends always live legends always live forever forever [Music] well I think you’ll agree that was one hell of an opener for this week’s New VR Games video thank you to Endreams for supplying that exclusive trailer and personally I think this game looks like a true return to form for the company and before I move on to the next game I wanted to give you some details about Reach itself reach sees players embody a reluctant hero thrown into a perilous journey to uncover the secrets of an underground civilization featuring true-to-life full body awareness and presence deeply tactile interactions powered by advanced physics and intuitive gesture-driven traversal Reach is aiming to set new standards for VR immersion players must fight past mythical threats master versatile tools and forge a path through the dynamic world where every action directly impacts the adventure overall I think this sounds absolutely brilliant and I can’t wait to check it out at some point this year the newest installment in the Thief series is coming exclusively to VR at some point in 2025 to all VR platforms and is being made by a truly awesome combo of developers being Vertigo Games and Maze Theory in Thief VR you are known as Magpie a cunning thief orphaned by Baron Northrest and you’ve been shaped by the streets you must use VR mechanics to steal evade and outsmart the city’s forces to find a relic in the north rest’s vault and there you will uncover a far greater artifact with a powerful legacy now personally I’m very excited to check this one out and I can’t wait to dive back into the Thief series all over again this city hides many lost and legendary treasures locked away waiting to be found waiting to be [Music] taken but some treasures come with more trouble than others i thought I was dead and who are you next up we see enhanced games return to VR with Lumines Arise which is again coming to all VR platforms at some point in 2025 lumines was one of my favorite puzzle games on the PSP and knowing what a masterful job they did with Tetris Effect for VR I have nothing but high expectations for this one you will journey through 30 stages of sensory wonderlands ranging from lush jungles to the buzzing streets of Tokyo this version of Loom Mines will also feature a new burst mechanic single player mode multiplayer modes and challenges the bodies that we’re in we’re feeling everything we’re only human in the end we’ll break away we’re only human emotion running through our veins heartbeat love is making waves handcrafted with cuddles by the Merk with a Metaquest kick back and bask in the glory of gaming’s first quintuple egg tropical farming sim experience next up we have Marvel’s Deadpool VR coming exclusively to Metaquest 3 and MetaQuest 3 S courtesy of Twisted Pixel the story sees you contacted by Mojo with the promise of making money and you must set out to capture villains from the Marvel universe it’s stated to be a mixture of melee combat with fast-paced and uncompromising traversal and you can even use your own limbs to attack the enemy obviously this sounds absolutely mental as you would expect from something with the name Deadpool this guy is a total dem what the hell who designed this [ __ ] i wiped my ass on this first you’re welcome who got the labbotomy with fries all your dreams of being inside me come true in VR spider-man gets insomniac and I get this [ __ ] i’m craving Korean barbecue now is that weird [Music] whoa next up we have a new installment in the Demio series from Resolution Games styled in Dungeons and Dragons called Battlemarked and it’s coming to all VR platforms in quarter 4 of 2025 you must assemble a party of fellow adventurers and embark on a new epic adventure in the Forgotten Realms where ancient rivalries shadowy conspiracies and the lure of dark power threaten to tear fair rune apart battle marked will be using the same brilliant action role-play system from Deio where you can link up with up to four players in cooperative multiplayer or you can go on an adventure entirely on your own it promises dynamic turn-based combat and traits from iconic Dungeons and Dragons classes this is one I’m definitely looking forward to playing only those battlemarked and bound by fate can defy the chaos that threatens to consume all well that was all the new VR game announcements that I have right now our summer gamefest is on at the moment so maybe hopefully something else will be announced but I’m going to leave you with the Resident Evil 9 game trailer shown yesterday which looks absolutely incredible unfortunately there isn’t really that much gameplay in it and VR hasn’t been announced as yet but as we know from Resident Evil 4 and by that I mean Resident Evil remake the VR mode was announced a little bit later and with Capcom messing around with AR recently for Monster Hunter I’ve got a very strong feeling that VR will be
