They have a case that I’m using on my iPhone 16 Pro that is nothing short of cool. So, get ready to see why this case might be just the most futuristic looking option on the market. So guys, yes, this is the A16 frosted case from Alumu. Now, if you don’t know Alumu, well, they make a ton of different tech accessories, which I have to say have a real good techno vibe about them. And in fact, I have a number of these accessories that I’ll be showing you over the coming week. Now, guys, before we get into it, Alumu sent me this phone case to review in exchange for my honest opinion. And guys, you know that whatever I review, you’re always going to get my honest opinion, good, bad, or indifferent. So, let’s get this out of the box and see what we’ve got. So guys, open up the box and you have well the case, right? That’s it. No paperwork or anything like that. Just the case. And what a nice case it is. Now I have the translucent gray color. And I have to say it really does look cool. Now, at first glance, you might think there’s a lot going on with this case, right? But trust me, it’s all about the aesthetic. This case is a one-piece hard TPU design. It’s not your average flimsy cover. It’s firm, scratch resistant, and it feels great in the hand. Now, looking around the case, and the top is clean. There’s no cutouts. On the side, we’ve got the action button and the volume controls. And I got to say, these buttons feel nice and tactile with no sharp edges. At the bottom, you’ve got a subtle kind of design by Alu kind of etching on the sides there. And you’ve got all of the necessary cutouts you need, including a generous one for the USBC port. And guys, the power button on the right hand side is really easy to press. Now guys, as I said, you’ve got these nice solid buttons that are easy to press, so that’s all cool. And you’ve also got that cutout for the camera control, so no loss in functionality. The case is also Mags Safe compatible, so you’re good to go with wireless charging. And that’s quite cool. Now guys, the interesting thing about this case, or one of the interesting things, is it’s got this kind of well, not this, but these cutouts, and they are for CPU cooling. I mean, it even says it on there, CPU cooling area. Now, you know, okay, it’s a couple of cutouts, right? I mean, does it actually cool your phone? Well, who knows? But you know what? It looks kind of neat. You’ve also got something else that’s quite unique. This case has glowinthe-dark elements. And you know, I’ve got to say it’s a bit of an interesting thing, but all of the white pieces on all the white etchings design, call it what you like, on this case actually glows in the dark. I’m not sure it’s functional, but you know what? It’s certainly a fun touch. Now, popping this onto my iPhone 16 Pro, it’s easy. Right, there you go. It’s very snug. And you know what? There is minimal flex or movement when you try to bend the case. And you know what? It snapped on very securely with a very satisfying click. Now, in terms of protection, this case offers 5T of drop protection, but surprisingly the lip around the screen is minimal. You can put it face down, but you know what? I might be a little bit cautious as to how I do put it down. Now, how does it feel in the hand? Well, you know what? It feels quite thin. It doesn’t add really any bulk to your phone. And whilst I do find the material to be a little bit slippery compared to others, um it’s not a showstopper. I mean, you want to be careful because, you know, especially if you’ve got a larger phone like a Pro Max or something like that, well, you know, cuz you can’t get your fingers around it very well. Um it could be a little bit slipperier than norm than some of the other cases. Not the normal cuz what’s normal right now? What about the mag safe strength? Well, no worries there. I can pop on a fairly chunky um charger power pack. Call it what you like. And look, I’m doing this just in case. But actually, I’m I’m going to just throw caution to the wind here. And right, I’m uh uh yeah, this is pretty cool, too. Um this is in another video, so try and check that out. But um anyway um yeah, it’s literally not going anywhere, right? The magnets are strong. You know, I can shake the phone as hard as you like and it all stays put. And it works great with MagSafe wallets, too. And actually, if I just pop this on there, this is a Mag Safe wallet. And by the way, this is a sneak peek at the wallet that Alumu make. So, I’ll be making a video on this very soon. But guys, like I said, even with that large battery pack attached, these magnets are holding firm. So guys, there you have it. The A16 frosted case for the iPhone 16 Pro from Lumu. It’s cool, it’s different, and it’s wellmade. You’ve got strong magnets, a great fit, and a bit of a unique design making this case stand out.
