So, every year Microsoft releases a new Surface laptop. Spoiler alert, this year is no different. This is called the Surface Laptop 13, and this year’s model is actually $100 cheaper. I’ve been using it for two weeks, and here’s what I think about it. First of all, it’s got a decentiz trackpad you can use to navigate, really nice keyboard to type on. It’s got the same unibody design on the one end. It’s got two type-C ports, real nice. It doesn’t have the Surface Connect port, though. And on the other side, it’s got the type A port as well as legacy support for a mini audio jack. I say legacy, it hasn’t been really that long ago, right? It’s got a really powerful Snapdragon CPU or processor with an NPU builtin called the Snapdragon X Pro with 8 cores. It’s got a 13-in display that goes up to 60 Hz. Last year’s model could do up to 120 Hz and it was 13.8 in. It’s a little thinner. It’s a little lighter. Great job, Microsoft actually also great job on reducing the cost. so more people can get it.
